Women’s World Banking Ghana (Savings & Loans Company Limited) is a non-bank financial institution in Ghana, which has been licensed by The Bank of Ghana to take deposits from the public and provide credit and other services to the business community and the general public.
Women’s World Banking Ghana has been incorporated since 1982. WWBG has a total client base of 120,000 spread across the country.
WWBG has a consortium which includes Structured Capital Ltd (parent company of the Databank Group), Goodwell Investments (Netherlands) and the Trust Bank of Gambia as its major shareholders. WWBG currently has thirteen branches in three regions of Ghana.
